The first golf course in China to install the Inforemer GPS system and eliminate all caddies has commenced the installation of 154 HD units of the Inforemer system. Yangliuging Golf Club (YLQ) in Tianjing will have the GPS system operating for the 2009 opening.

GPSi Asia presented at the Asia Golf Industry Show 2008 in New Delhi, India. Kieran Magee of GPSi Asia made several presentations to many golf courses in this rapidly developing golf market.
October 2008
The Inforemer to Japan, the first Install in Japan! In October, 2008 the Yokohama Country Club signed for the installation of 50 Inforemer HDX units on the Championship West Course at its prestigous 36 hole private club near Yokohama, Japan. Our representative in Japan, Enjoy Golf & Sports Japan, Mr. Shin Sasaki announced that this is a major breakthrough of having the best GPS system now installed in Japan and will lead to many golf courses using the Inforemer system.
September, 2008
GPSi Asia completed the first Inforemer installation for the major contract of GPS Media in China. The Sanyang Golf Club in Suzhou are now using the 80 HD units with advertising on the screens. The following courses will also be installed with the Inforemer system in China under the agreement with GPS Media:
- Pine Valley Golf Club, Beijing - 160 units
- Qing He Bay, Beijing - 100 units
- Tianma Golf Club, Shanghai - 80 units
- Grand Shanghai, Shanghai - 80 units
- Peach Garden, Shenzhen - 80 units
August 2008
The Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club announced the installation of the Inforemer GPS system on its newly renovated West Course. This is the first installation in Malaysia for GPSi Asia and we are proud to be at one of the top golf courses not only in Malaysia but SE Asia. 82 HD Cart Mount units and 40 H2 handheld units will be installed for the January 2009 opening.

GPSI Asia is pleased to announce the newest addition to the team, Philip Sacks. Philip will head the Advertising (InforeMedia) program.
As a MBA Graduate and fluent in Mandarin Chinese Philip has 20 years experience in the golf industry. He has worked as an Academy Director for the Gary Player Group in both Indonesia and Singapore. In 1999, Philip joined South African based Twilight Advertising as Managing Director for China and moved to Shanghai where he established the company and secured several multi-million dollar contracts.
